When comparing gummies and capsules, begin with the exact products and the reason you are considering them. A format name does not tell you the ingredient amount, suitability, testing status or expected result. A gummy and a capsule with similar marketing can contain different ingredients and have different directions.

Put two complete labels side by side

FDA’s dietary-supplement labeling guidance identifies serving size, dietary ingredients and their quantities as core Supplement Facts information. Read the directions separately: the number of pieces in a serving and the frequency of use answer different questions. Never turn a comparison calculation into instructions to take more.

Record for each product What the comparison tells you
Exact product name and version Whether you are comparing the intended formulas, rather than different editions or pack sizes.
Pieces per labeled serving Whether one gummy and one capsule represent comparable portions.
Ingredient name, form, amount and unit per serving Whether the products actually contain the same listed ingredient in the same stated amount.
Directions and warnings Whether intended users and use instructions differ.
Other ingredients and relevant allergen information Which formulation details need clarification for your preferences or restrictions.
Servings per container and current price A basis for calculating cost per labeled serving.

A worked example without changing your dose

Suppose an imaginary gummy label lists two pieces per serving and 100 mg of ingredient X per serving. An imaginary capsule label lists one piece per serving and 100 mg of X. The listed amount per serving matches even though the piece count differs. This does not establish equal absorption, effectiveness or suitability. These are fictional numbers for arithmetic, not a Pure Blue label or a recommended dose.

For price comparison, divide the current purchase price by labeled servings per container. An imaginary $24 bottle with 30 servings costs $0.80 per labeled serving. Keep shipping and any recurring purchase terms visible as separate considerations. Compare daily costs only when the actual directions clearly define a daily schedule; do not assume every supplement is intended for daily use.

Questions the format cannot answer

  • Sugar and other ingredients: check the actual label. Do not assume every gummy has the same sweetener or every capsule is free of ingredients you wish to avoid.
  • Dietary preferences: ask about the complete formula if needed. A shell or base ingredient alone does not verify every ingredient or a certification.
  • Storage: follow the package instructions. A broad claim that one format always lasts longer is not a substitute for the product’s own storage information.
  • Evidence: research on one ingredient or formulation does not automatically demonstrate results for another finished product.
  • Testing: ask what was tested, on which product or batch, and by whom. Do not infer certification from a general “lab tested” phrase.

Stop when information does not match

If the webpage, package photo and directions disagree, ask the seller to identify the current label before ordering or using the product. Save the reply with the product version you compared. Do not resolve contradictory directions by choosing the larger amount or more frequent schedule.

FDA advises discussing supplement benefits and risks with a health care professional. Supplements can interact with medicines and should not replace prescribed treatment. If switching a product used under clinical guidance, show both labels to that clinician or pharmacist instead of assuming the formats are interchangeable.

Review the current information for Quantum Vitality NAD+ Booster+ Detox if that is the product you are considering. Request any missing label details before making a comparison. This link does not claim that Quantum Vitality is equivalent to a gummy, suitable for a particular condition, or independently certified.

For a separate decision about caffeine intake, see our practical caffeine reduction guide. Keep the goals distinct: selecting a supplement format does not establish a treatment for fatigue or caffeine withdrawal.
